Review of Parador Hampel: Balancing Luxury and Value During my recent visit to Parador Hampel from 11 to 14 March, I was pleased to see the legacy of this establishment, previously known as Veraneio, continue to thrive. We stayed at Chalé do Lago, which offers a serene setting, yet it does have some shortcomings that merit consideration. The staff's friendliness was commendable, particularly in the kitchen and dining areas where unique weekend dishes proved noteworthy. Experiences like evening bonfires enhanced our stay, adding a touch of charm. Several issues raised concerns regarding the value proposition. Slow responses through WhatsApp for both reservations and queries were disappointing. The condition of our chalet-specifically ceiling holes allowing unwelcome visitors and malfunctioning lights-was alarming for a premium accommodation. the evening cold cuts were below expectations.
